Angel Tree donations at our facility were generous this season and will create smiles from local children this Christmas morning!

The Angel Tree in the administration building for St. Croix Tissue, Woodland Pulp, and St Croix Chipping was both colorful and overflowing last week. 468 tags were picked off the Angel Trees around the mill and filled by employees, vendors, contractors and local unions.

Journeymen Electrical / Instrumentation Technicians
The maintenance department has immediate openings for journeymen E&I Technicians. The rate for these positions will be paid per the wage schedule outlined in the labor agreement covering the respective positions.
Qualifications/Education
1. Successful completion of an State of Maine approved apprenticeship program or Associate Degree from a post-secondary technical school or college.
2. A minimum of three (3) years industrial electrical and instrumentation experience is preferred.
3. A current State of Maine Journeyman or Master Electrician license is preferred.
Attributes
1. Knowledge for all aspects of electrical maintenance including but not limited to: AC and DC electric motors, variable frequency and DC drives, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), control system communications, medium voltage motor controls and switchgear, distributive control systems (DCS).
2. Knowledge for all aspects of instrument maintenance and troubleshooting including but not limited to: Smart transmitters as well as pneumatic/analog instrumentation used in the measurement of temperature, pressure, level, and flow measurement, distributed control systems, automatic valves, actuators, and positioners.
3. Applicants should have the ability to read and understand electrical and instrument prints as well as process flow diagrams.
4. Willingness to learn new procedures and techniques as conditions warrant.
