The newest addition to the Explorer Series - MVS 18 2IX 2EL. We designed this model for our own sailboat. Then we worked with Hylas to make some more improvements.

Congratulations to our customers at Hylas Yachts! We like to think our Torrid Marine water heater contributes to the comfort of “a bluewater yacht that feels like home”.

We worked with the Hylas team to find the right fit, one of our Explorer Series. This series features two independent heat exchanger coils and two independent heating elements. With this series the options for heating your water provide comfort on or off the dock. With Hylas, we introduced a 24V DC option on the upper element to work with their solar power configuration.

On the first day of the Newport International Boat Show, competition was stiff as Best In Class winners were chosen by industry experts, while the People’s Choice award was selected by show attendees.
