Security Supervisor $19.50/hr

- must have prior experience as a Security supervisor

Job Duties include:

- The ability to Develop effective relationships with all security department personal through clear communication.
- Communicate to management personnel regarding issues and or situations occurring within the company, via both written and verbal communication methods.
- Inspect all security sites and address employees on issues that occur, including and not limited to verbal counseling and verbal write-ups.
- Share responsibility with another supervisor and work as a team.
- Function as the training supervisor to new guards to familiarize company procedures and policy and ensure understanding and compliance.
- Instruct new guards about patrol routes and explain the proper procedures for handling personnel during emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Demonstrate organizational and management skills by creating post orders, training documents, and training new security guards.
- Complete tasks issued by company owner in order to ensure vehicles and guard equipment is prepared for operations.

**Must be able be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities:

Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Patrol Officer will be driving from property to property through the Goleta/Santa Barbara area taking pictures and reports for clients and maintaining a presence through out the night. Patrol guard is responsible for reporting any issues to client if property damage or trespassers are to be discovered.

- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property;
- inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
- Maintains organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing routes on time and efficiently as needed.

REQUIRMENTS:
- Guard card
- Valid California Driver license
