The City of Bakersfield Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Technical Assistance and Grant Program 2.0 is coming to a close.

The final day to submit an application is September 30, 2026, but funding is limited and grants may be exhausted before the deadline.

Strong partnerships create stronger businesses.

On Tuesday, August 18th, BC Launchpad's Executive Director of Entrepreneurship and Workforce Development, NaTesha "T" Johnson, and Jaclyn Allen, owner of The Hens Roost and PB Jack's Nut Butter, joined KGET Studio 17 host Rick Bentley to discuss entrepreneurship, small business growth, and the power of community partnerships.

One of the highlights of the conversation was the reciprocal relationship between BC Launchpad and The Hens Roost. Entrepreneurs looking for opportunities to showcase and sell their products are often connected with Jackie and her team, while aspiring business owners who connect with The Hens Roost are referred to BC Launchpad for no-cost training, resources, and support.
