Research informs that healthy, nurturing, and positive living environments is key to the preventing of serious incidents, violence and other high-risk behaviors (i.e. assaults, bullying, quality of life crime, truancy, drug and alcohol use, etc.) by community members and students. All communities sand school districts receive local, state and federal funds to mitigate if not prevent exposure to ri

The aforementioned funds should augment proven research based initiatives and models that facilitate the creation of a uniform set of safety systems and strategies.
