📢 A LITTLE UPDATE ON SRockburn LLC !

A lot of you have been asking me in person what's going on with my page, so here's the scoop!

I'm rebranding the SRockburn LLC page. The old logos are going out, the new ones are coming in, and I'm cleaning things up to give the business a more professional look.

I've spent a lot of time working behind the scenes and supporting our local community, including the Lake County Chamber of Commerce. I recently decided to take the next step and become a paid member, which means it's time to make sure my business pages are looking their best!

So, what's happening with the business?

✅ Security Agency: Still working toward getting things up and running.

📸 Northwind Studios: Still working behind the scenes with photography and creative projects.

🎬 Community Projects: Getting ready to bring movie nights to the seniors here at Oakwood.

**Nothing is shutting down, and nothing is wrong!** I'm just taking the next step, building connections, and getting things organized as the businesses grow.

Instead of always working in the shadows, I'm stepping forward a little more. So I figured it was time to clean up the place and put on a fresh coat of paint. 😂

Stay tuned for what's coming next!

🇺🇸 WELCOME TO SROCKBURN LLC 🇺🇸
Hi, I’m Steve , owner of SRockburn LLC.
If you’re new to this page, welcome!

I’m a Service-Disabled U.S. Army Veteran, local photographer, business owner, and community volunteer. I’ve spent years taking photographs, helping with community events, supporting veterans, and lending a hand wherever I can.
Now I’m turning that experience into something bigger.

📸 NORTHWIND STUDIOS
Photography has been a big part of my life for a long time. Some of you may have already seen my photographs in local newspapers, community posts, events, and on other people’s pages.
I recently took that passion and turned it into Northwind Studios, providing photography, drone services, and visual media.
Check it out and see what I’ve been working on:

🛡️ ROCKBURN SECURITY AGENCY
I’m also building Rockburn Security Agency, with the goal of providing professional security and property-monitoring services to our local communities.
I’m currently working through the Michigan private security agency licensing process. And let me tell you, getting everything licensed and compliant is not exactly a walk in the park! 😂

While that process is underway, I’m offering property watch services that focus on observing and documenting properties, not acting as a licensed security agency.
That means things like:
✔️ Exterior property checks
✔️ Walk-around inspections
✔️ Photos and documentation
✔️ Reporting obvious problems or concerns
✔️ Helping seasonal property owners keep an eye on their property while they’re away

SRockburn LLC is also registered with SAM.gov and recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
I’ve completed training through FEMA/NIMS, Michigan State Police, Officer.com, Michigan State University/Coursera, and other professional training programs related to emergency preparedness, security, photography, and running a photography business.

🤝 COMMUNITY IS A BIG PART OF WHAT I DO ..
Building businesses is important to me, but helping people and being involved in my community is just as important.
I’ve volunteered, helped organize events, provided photography, supported veterans, and worked with various community organizations and groups.
Some of the organizations and community groups I’ve been involved with, supported, or worked alongside include:
🇺🇸 AMVETS Post 1988
🎖️ Lake County Honor Guard
🏕️ Lake County Sportsman’s Club
🏛️ Lake County Chamber of Commerce
🌽 Pure Markette
📸 Local community events and organizations
🤝 Various other veteran, community, nonprofit, and local organizations

I’m proud to be involved, and I’m always looking for another way to help.

🚀 THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING

SRockburn LLC is still growing.
I’m not pretending I’ve got everything figured out. I’m building this one step at a time, learning, training, investing in equipment, meeting people, helping where I can, and trying to create businesses that can actually benefit the community.
My goal over the next several years is to grow SRockburn LLC into something that provides quality services, creates opportunities, supports veterans, and gives back to the communities that have supported me.
So if you’re seeing this page for the first time:
Welcome.
Take a look around.

📸 Check out Northwind Studios.

🇺🇸 Follow along with what SRockburn LLC is building.

🤝 And if you see me around the community, come say hello.

I appreciate every person who has supported me, shared my work, hired me, volunteered alongside me, or simply encouraged me to keep going.

Thank you for stopping by.

Well... Rockburn Security Agency might have its first business contract! 🇺🇸

Hopefully this is the first of many and opens the door to more businesses here in Baldwin. I'll share more details when everything is finalized.

I'm still waiting on the licensing bureau, but in the meantime, here's a sample of what will likely be our temporary uniform if my shoulder patch gets denied again. Honestly, I like it—clean, simple, and easy to identify with bold white lettering. Sometimes simple is the best approach.

Now it's time to do what business owners do: sit down, write contracts, prepare paperwork, and keep building this company one step at a time.

My goal is that by next year, I'll be bringing on additional security officers. I know several people have already asked about 1099 contractor opportunities—I haven't forgotten about you. Your information is still on file, and as business grows, I'll be reaching out.

One thing that's important to me is hiring both civilian and veteran security professionals. If one of our guards is a veteran, I want people to know it. Rockburn Security Agency was built with the goal of creating opportunities for veterans while providing professional security services to our communities.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Your prayers, encouragement, shares, and donations have meant more than you know. Every bit of support has helped move this company forward, even when progress felt slow.

More updates are coming soon. Stay tuned—and thank you all for believing in Rockburn Security Agency.
