The Propane Group is a way to save money on your propane usage. The Group started in 1998 by a small group of neighbors combining their purchasing power to secure pricing typically reserved for the largest corporate customers. We exist for the benefit of all our members! We have secured a contract through May 2027 with Ferrellgas, the nation’s second largest propane supplier, at $.55-$.85 above Fe

rrellgas’ wholesale cost of propane! For an average residential or commercial customer, this is the lowest price in the area! The minimum requirement for joining our group is that you must use propane as the primary source of heat, must be credit approved, a ‘keep full’ customer, and a minimum usage of 600 gallons per year. All members of our Group must live in Broome or Tioga counties. In addition, members of the Group have their own customer account number and relationship directly with Ferrellgas. Ferrellgas handles all of your customer service needs….delivery, account billing, emergency services and phone inquiries.
