It’s hard to find words for the depth of gratitude I feel for last week’s full moon ceremony.
Around 30 of us gathered under a radiant moon—each person choosing to be there, to pray, hum, meditate, and share in vulnerability and ritual. That kind intentional presence, collective energy, and essence of family mean everything to me ❤️
I spent weeks preparing the music, flow, and elements of the ceremony and despacho, and truly loved every part of the process. It brought me so much peace and simultaneous expanse.
I’m endlessly grateful for my friend and teacher, who first introduced me to shamanism and my very first despacho ceremony. Her teachings around energy, ceremony, originality, and—most importantly—having plain ol’ fun have shaped so much of how I hold space and who I am today.
I have deep gratitude to my father, who first brought me into this world alongside my mother 32 years ago. I don’t take that lightly. Thank you for your life, your support, and for helping me with the sound bath. You’ve played such a meaningful role in my path toward an alternative career, my love of nature and relationship with music, and my sense of humor. Holding ceremony together was something I’ll never forget. I love you Dad!
To my dear friends Cat and —thank you for your help serving hapé. I truly could not have held that night without you. Deepening our friendship through these shared experiences and ceremonies has been otherworldly, and I know we will be in each other’s lives forever.
And to everyone who came: thank you for showing up, for believing in this space, for praying, singing, and being in it together. Last Friday was unforgettable, and I feel deeply honored to have shared it with you all. Thank you for being in community with me 🙏🍄✨
