That's right - defending champions. Two years in a row. BWS has done it again!

Congratulations to Trey, Danielle, Matt & Peyton for bringing home the Trash Can Trophy for the second consecutive year! And a special shoutout to Danielle, who also took home the Women's Longest Drive award! Most businesses invest heavily in cybersecurity while old paper files sit in storage rooms, filing cabinets, or worse, unlocked recycling bins.

As we head into year-end, now is the right time to audit your records and shred what you no longer need. Unsecured documents - HR files, financial records, patient information, legal paperwork - are a real liability, not just a storage problem.

Read more about what could be lurking in the back office and why now is the best time to schedule your fall shredding service - https://www.bwaste.com/resources/the-knowledge-center/articles-insights-and-updates/old-records-or-files-shredding-maryland

Wrapping up National Truck Driver Appreciation with Harry's legendary cookout 🔥Haul Yeah!

You’ll notice a special debut – our new grill for our new Baltimore facility! First fire, first burgers, first of many cookouts to come.

Our drivers are on the road every day. The early mornings, the long routes, the professionalism they bring every single day - none of it goes unnoticed. They are not just part of our team. They are the reason we can do what we do.

To our BWS and Broadview Waste Solutions drivers, and to truck drivers everywhere: you are appreciated. More than we can say. We are so grateful to have you on our team 💙

Handling regulated waste is serious business…

And clearly, you can have a great time doing it too! 😄

The candid laughter in these photos says everything about the culture they have built together.

Our plant staff handles some of the most specialized, regulated work in the industry - medical waste, sharps, hazardous materials - with precision, care, and an unwavering commitment to safety. They show up every day knowing the work matters, and they do it right, every single time.

Over 50 years of trust in this industry is built by teams like this one. We are proud to work alongside them every day.

We are continuing our Driver Appreciation week here at BWS with a Rise & Roll breakfast for our team before they head out on their routes 🚛

There's "muffin" better than our drivers and this is a small gesture for all they do! Our drivers are the backbone of everything we do at Biomedical Waste Services & Broadview Waste Solutions. Their dedication and professionalism never goes unnoticed.

To our BWS drivers and to truck drivers everywhere: we see the work you do. We are grateful for it. And we are proud to have you on our team 💙

09/15/2026

This week is National Truck Driver Appreciation Week honoring the 3.6 million professional truck drivers! 🚛

We're kicking off the celebration with Trey's Thank You Drop - coolers loaded full of goodies for the coolest drivers in the industry! You all show up rain or shine, to keep our communities safe and healthy. You are the backbone of everything we do. 💙

To our drivers and to truck drivers everywhere: you move this industry forward. Literally and figuratively. Thank you!
