🪣🌟 “Digging Into Learning!” 🌟🪣

Our sand center has been the hot spot! From scooping and pouring to building and exploring, our little learners are doing big things!

Here’s what sand play is helping us practice:
🔤 Finding and naming letters we’ve been learning
🖐 Strengthening fine motor skills for future writing
💬 Using new words to describe what we build and do
👫 Taking turns and playing together
🎨 Letting our imaginations run wild with castles, cakes, roads, and more!

And the best part? They think it’s all just FUN! 😄

🎉 Our Super Duper Writing Box! ✍️🖍️✨

It may look like just a box of crayons or some markers… but oh no — it’s so much more! This magical little box is where writing adventures begin! Several different types of utensils for students to experiment withth and practice writing, drawing or coloring!🌟

Here’s what we’re keeping an eye out for as our little authors & illustrators get to work:

🔤 What letters and words did the child write? (19b)

Welcome to Mrs. Megan’s ASPIRE PreK at M&M Childcare!

"A Family’s Heart & A Preschool Start"
Hey there! I’m Mrs. Megan, and I’m beyond excited to welcome you to M&M Childcare, where learning is all about having fun! With a strong focus on learning through play, I believe the early years are some of the most important in shaping a child’s future. Whether your child is just starting out or getting ready for kindergarten, I’m here to create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where they can thrive.

A Little About Me...
I’ve had the joy of owning and running M&M Childcare since 2019. Three years ago, I took another exciting step by joining ASPIRE, and I’m proud to be a part of this innovative program! I’m set to graduate in May 2025 with my BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and have earned Level 4 in Maryland EXCELS.
Before diving into Early Childhood Education, I spent 10 years as a paramedic, but after welcoming my third child, I decided to make a big change and focus on raising my family and pursuing my passion for education. That’s when I started our PreK program—and I’ve loved every moment since!
I’m passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where kids feel safe to learn, explore, and develop at their own pace. My goal is to help each child build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning, while giving them a strong foundation for academic and emotional success.
