Officials believe that there were no survivors after an American Airlines jet flying from Wichita, Kan., to Reagan National Airport collided with a Black Hawk military helicopter in the skies near Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night. Checking In After New Year’s Day Incident on Bourbon Street

Dear Team/Colleagues/Friends,

We at Orange Moon are deeply concerned and saddened by the tragic events on Bourbon Street in New Orleans this New Year’s Day, where multiple lives were lost and dozens were injured. Our thoughts go out to all those affected.

First and foremost, we want to ensure the safety and well-being of our monitors and everyone in our network who may be in the area. If you are in New Orleans or have loved ones there, please let us know how you’re doing. Reach out if:

Seasonal Per Diem Contractor

The Night Chaperone will provide a curfew watch and noise enforcement at various lodgings at locations across their residential city and neighboring cities.

Night Chaperones must be comfortable controlling students of various ages. The night chaperone will work with tour directors, group leaders, and other adult chaperones to ensure that students remain inside their lodging rooms, prohibit visitors, and deliveries of all types, while curfew is ongoing.

The shifts can range from 4 - 10 hours, anywhere between 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Our peak season is February - June.

Responsibility & Duties:
• Completing detailed reports
• Responding to circumstances in the
hotel that relates to the students
• Interacting with tour directors,
group leaders, school staff, and
adult chaperones
• Ability to perform with little
supervision
• Remaining alert and aware
• Walking/Roaming hallways
• Ensuring proper health/hygiene to
avoid illness
• Watching for illness symptoms from
a student and/or adult customers to
keep yourself and others safe and
healthy

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED, or
equivalent required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the United
States
• Excellent communication skills with
the ability to give feedback reports
• Active and available email address
• Cell phone with text messaging for
communication
• Must have availability to work
overnight
• Strong customer service skills
• Neat and clean appearance
• Consent to a background check
