RMI 2022 Maryland Manufacturing Celebration
More than 30 Mid-Atlantic Region MBDA AMC associates joined the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland (RMI) at its Celebration of Maryland Manufacturing November 17at Martin's West in Baltimore. The event was held in recognition of RMI's 32 years of manufacturing industry advocacy, the 2022 RMI Champions of Maryland Manufacturing, and RMI President and 2022 Grand Champion Michael "Mike" Galiazzo's dedication to and leadership in the industry. The Center was a program sponsor for the event.

he Capital Region Minority Supplier Diversity Council (CRMSDC) celebrated 50 years of driving economic opportunity and growth in the region with its Leaders and Legends celebration, where our own Anthony Robinson, Esq. (left) was recognized for his work in Civil Rights. Center Director Phillips is pictured with Robinson.

2022 Year in Review April N. Richardson, President of Food Opportunity (pictured), held a grand opening for "Ninety Ten" by DC Sweet Potato Cake. The new location is at 925 17th Street NW, in Washington, DC. The shop provides the great "Delectable Cakes" brand manufactured by the company. With widespread community support, the manufacturer also reopened its retail shop in Baltimore after a break-in closed retail operations last year.
