Your APICS Baltimore Chapter Board of Directors is proud to announce its WINNER of the APICS BALTIMORE 2020 STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION.
MEET FIRST PRIZE WINNER: LATIA THOMAS
Ms. Thomas was selected for her submission entitled “Representation Matters” where she built on the belief that, “We all should see representation of ourselves in various careers. Regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion, etc., we must all be seen.”.
We believe that her innovative spirit and drive will serve her well in her remaining time at Morgan State University and throughout her career.
Ms. Thomas has won airfare and registration to ASCM 2020 National Conference, to be held in New Orleans, LA. To ensure that she is able to make the personal decision as to whether or not to travel in September, we will instead award Ms. Thomas with a scholarship to Morgan State. We could not be more proud of our first ever paper competition winner…CONGRATULATIONS!
We would like to thank all of those who entered and would encourage everyone to reach out to the APICS BoD for any support or resources. APICS Baltimore Chapter is a community resource dedicated to supporting Supply Chain professions throughout their careers. If you would like to help, please contact us at [email protected]
