I am Michael Riggs the owner of Business Management Solutions (BMS). For 20 years, BMS has been my vehicle for providing high quality consulting services to small businesses that were unable to afford a full-time management professional. For example, I have successfully helped companies get accepted into the SBA 8(a) program, write proposals for government contracts, and provided insi
ghts on how to run businesses more profitably. During these past 20 years I have been involved with other endeavors such as owning and operating two motels, a restaurant, jazz club, banquet center in Kansas as well as opening a historic tourist site in Northwest Missouri, I have also kept BMS available for special projects. The latest incarnation of BMS is mainly two-fold. First, I am working as an independent contractor with ABC Advertising Agency, Inc. (www.abcadvertising.net) to find the right restaurants to place new, high quality, table tops for free! In order to get these new table tops, however, the restaurants agree to allow us to sell large laminated advertisements to local business owners. The table tops stay in the restaurant for three years where they are seen by tens of thousands of customers that have nothing to do while they wait for their order to be served than to look at these beautiful ads. It is a “win-win” situation for everyone. The other business service being featured is the making of website video clips. You have likely noticed that more and more companies are including these clips into their websites and or on sites like Youtube to raise the professional image of their businesses. The table top ads mentioned above have the option of including QR codes as part of the ads. Scanning the QR code takes the person’s smart-phone directly to a webpage…this might include going directly to a video clip! Linking these two services together in this way is very exciting. In addition to these new services, I am also available for consultation on a wide range of areas that I have worked with firms on in the past.
