“Over the past 18 years, I have had the opportunity to work with some truly amazing bosses, and honestly, I do not know where I would be today without them in my life. When I first entered the corrugated industry, I knew absolutely nothing about boxes — other than the fact that they delivered the things I ordered in the mail. You would never realize how much goes into making a box unless you are part of this industry.
Over the years, I have learned how to analyze linerboard combinations, pricing structures, styles, and flutes, but more importantly, I have grown into a much stronger person both professionally and personally in ways I cannot fully explain. Here at Columbia Container, we are family and always will be.
Brendan has always been exceptional at guiding not only me, but our entire team, through his words of wisdom and leadership. He has taught us lessons that we continue to apply not only in business, but in everyday life. I truly would not be where I am today without Brendan, Jim, and Chris. It has been an exciting and unforgettable journey.
Watching this company blossom over the years, and knowing I have been part of that growth, truly brings tears to my eyes. From the very beginning, there was only one direction for us to go — up. No one was going to stop us then, and that certainly is not going to change in the future.
We all knew the partners would not simply pass the baton to just anyone.
