Kathleen started her creative career under her friend and mentor, Tracey Lee Symington in Richmond, Virginia, working in the advertising and fashion service industry. Kathleen went on to work as a commercial photographer's studio manager and in-house set stylist. Kathleen opened her own production service and casting agency for advertising agencies, photographers,and film studios. After selling th

e business, Kathleen moved to Madrid, Spain with her husband and two young boys. After two years, they moved to the English countryside where Kathleen studied interior design. Kathleen has lived and worked in Mexico, Peru, Portugal, and the U.S. She has consulted clients on many different residential projects,designed and exported furniture and antiques to the U.S. Kathleen is now living between Lynchburg, Virginia and Baltimore, Maryland and looks forward to consulting in these areas.

I just bought this rocking chair. I believe it is from the Aesthetic Movement circa 1850-1900. If anyone has any information or knowledge they would like to share with me, I would be very appreciative. It seems to be ebonized with carved square medallions of flowers and fauna with two birds on the top. The brass rivets are beautiful on the impressed leather of the seat that is torn away. The two round medallions on the bottom seemed to be of burled spruce..maybe. Thanks!

STAGING: when selling a house, staging the space, adding furnishings, is essential to give potential clients an idea of scale and usage of space. It also is invaluable for on-line photos and tours. Your house becomes a product when it is on the market and it needs to outshine the comparables. I can help with that!
REDESIGN: I take what you own and make it more cohesive and livable to meet your needs. I have 1/2 day and 1 day rates! This is a great gift idea!
DOWNSIZING: Organizing all the household items when one is moving from a larger space into a smaller one. I help devise a plan to sell and donate all unwanted household items, while minimizing the amount of work for the client and maximizing organization. I also plan for the decoration of the new space. Before & After. My client has lots of prints and paintings that are meaningful to her. We gathered them up and put them in their own “frame” so to speak. We used chalk paint so she can be creative. She may put molding around it in the future but it looks cohesive and fun now!
