Little known Maryland Black History fact...

Grand Journey Solutions, LLC was the only black woman owned business that was awarded grant funding from Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) in 2018.

In 2018, MMCC awarded five grants totaling in $250k. Grand Journey Solutions, LLC recieved two of the five grants.

Uplift Maryland, LLC - 1

The purpose of the grants were to improve diversity, equity and inclusion within Maryland's Medical Cannabis industry. Awardees were tasked with promoting, recruiting and training businesses on how to become licensed Medical Cannabis Growers and Processors in the State of Maryland.

Today, we recognize GJS on such a huge accomplishment. ✊🏾
