We challenged a hospital team to build rocket ships this week.

What looked like a fun team-building exercise carried a deeper purpose. It revealed how teams react when directions change without warning.

Mid-build, Keith and I shifted directions. Switched team members. Removed critical materials. Even took away their ability to talk for a few minutes.

It stopped being a TALLsmall exercise. It became a mirror.

Some teams chased height. Others reinforced the foundation.

Every group recalibrated instead of resisting the change.

That said everything.
