We are thrilled to share that St. Paul’s School for Girls has been named a Platinum Winner in the ABC Baltimore Excellence in Construction Awards!

Congratulations to Lewis Contractors on this well-earned recognition and thank you for being such a great partner throughout the project. Your teamwork and craftsmanship, from pre-construction to completion, helped make this vision a reality.

The 30,000-square-foot addition and renovation have created a STEAM-focused academic space with modern classrooms, flexible areas, and informal spots where students can work together. Breakout rooms, collaboration corridors, and an outdoor makerspace plaza give students more ways to learn beyond the classroom, while the new addition encourages even more exploration in science and technology.

We are proud of what we built together and thankful to everyone who played a part in this project.

We’re excited to celebrate the ribbon-cutting at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum and the opening of the newly expanded Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory (MAC Lab) to the public.
Marshall Craft was honored to collaborate with the Maryland Department of General Services and the research lab on this expansion, which includes a new 5,000-square-foot collections storage facility, an isolation room, a loading dock, and infrastructure upgrades throughout the lab.
The completed project gives the MAC Lab the space and resources it needs to return to full capacity, supporting the conservation, study, and stewardship of Maryland’s archaeological collections for generations to come.

Our team recently visited the construction site, giving designers across the office an opportunity to see the project’s progress firsthand.
Marshall Craft is leading the design of MSB’s accessible complex featuring a gymnasium, competition pool, sensory pool, and support spaces for athletics.
This building will help create new opportunities for recreation, adaptive physical education, therapy, and community events.
We’re excited to be a part of this project, and to see these new spaces become part of MSB’s campus and its students’ experiences!

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming young family members of our team into our offices for Bring a Kid to Work Day.

It was a chance to share what we do (and why we love it) through hands-on design activities. Our guests designed buildings for animal clients, thinking through how spaces function for different users. They built miniature sukkah structures using natural materials, exploring ideas of temporary design and building with nature. In our interiors library, they created mood boards to see how color and materials can shape the feeling of a space.

For us, it was about sharing the joy of design: watching curiosity turn into ideas, and ideas into something tangible.
We’re grateful to open our doors and pass that excitement along to the next generation.

This , our Baltimore and Richmond offices came together for another week of hands-on action and reflection, organized by our Sustainability Committee.

In Baltimore, volunteers cleaned up the Jones Falls stream that runs through our office in the historic Clipper Mill, collecting trash and helping restore this important local waterway.

In Richmond, the team cleaned up nearby streets and spent time on a nature walk to identify native and invasive species. Along the way, we spotted red maple, cherry, willow oak, black gum, and more.

Throughout the week, our Sustainability Committee also led efforts to strengthen our internal practices, introducing more reusable plates and cutlery and improving our recycling and waste streams.

Thank you to our Sustainability Committee and to everyone who showed up to keep our communities clean and green.
