BEC members, this is your last chance to cast your ballot in the 2026 BEC Board of Directors Election!

As a member-owner, YOU have a say in who helps lead your cooperative! Every BEC member can vote in all three director district elections—Districts 1, 2 and 3—regardless of where they live.

⚡ Our BEC team had a blast at Bandera’s National Night Out on October 6 at the Boys & Girls Club of Bandera!

We enjoyed spending the evening alongside local families, sharing some fun goodies and joining in on all the excitement!

Events like this remind us just how special it is to be part of a community that comes together to celebrate, connect and support one another.

👋 Please join us in welcoming Paul Lochte, P.E., to Bandera Electric Cooperative!

Paul recently joined BEC as our new Director of Engineering, bringing 37 years of experience in the Texas electric utility industry and extensive expertise in electric utility engineering and operations.

In his new role, Paul will lead BEC’s engineering efforts and help support the continued planning, design and development of our electric system as we work to meet the needs of our members and growing service territory.

We’re excited to have Paul on the BEC team and look forward to the experience and leadership he brings to our cooperative!

There’s still time to cast your ballot in the 2026 BEC Board of Directors Election, and this year, all BEC members who vote will automatically be entered into a drawing for a $500 BEC bill credit!
Already voted? You’re already entered—no additional action is needed. ✅

Every BEC member can vote in all three director district elections—Districts 1, 2 and 3—regardless of the district in which they reside. As a member-owner, your vote is an important way to make your voice count and participate in the future of your cooperative.

⚠️ SCAM ALERT: BEC is aware of a recent scam call targeting a non-member.

We received a report from an individual who is not a BEC member about a caller falsely claiming to represent Bandera Electric Cooperative. The scammer stated that the individual had been overcharged and requested bank account information to issue a refund.

The scammer reportedly called from multiple phone numbers, including:

🚨 Scammers can target anyone, not just BEC members, so we encourage everyone to remain vigilant. Never provide banking, payment or personal information to an unexpected caller. Scammers can also spoof phone numbers, so caller ID may not be reliable.

If you ever receive a suspicious call claiming to be from BEC, please hang up and contact us directly at 866-226-3372 to verify.
