Hello, I’m Marvin, the office terrier—and, naturally, the one truly in charge around here.

I’m currently training the 10 humans who work beneath me. So far, they’re making acceptable progress: they provide snacks, open doors, toss toys, and understand that my naps are not to be interrupted.

However, I do have one rather serious complaint: the voices.
Every time someone scratches behind my ears or gives me a proper belly rub, they suddenly start in the strangest voices imaginable: “Who’s a good boy?!” “Ohhh Marvin!” “You’re so cuuuute!”

Listen, humans. I appreciate the scratches. Please continue with the scratches. But must we sound like a pack of injured squirrels while doing it? It is driving me completely bonkers.

Still, they mean well. I’ll keep training them.

If you have visited us recently, you may have noticed that we are DOG FRIENDLY‼️

This is Marvin. He's official, he's kind of a big deal and he's even on the website. We loosely call him the "Head of Security." Marvin is a blessing to our office. Dog therapy is real! Whilst we adore Marvin and love having him around, we often wonder..... WHAT IS MARVIN THINKING? 🤔

We are thrilled to announce that Sophia Toscano has officially accepted our offer to join the LG&H team as a permanent Staff Accountant!

Sophia is a New York native and is finishing her studies at the University of Maine. She absolutely crushed her internship and we could not be happier to keep her on board!

Look at those years of service! 👀 Angel's is covered up but that is 24 and Kimber's is 2. Caitlin just got here! We are happy to have such long term staff!!

Each year we do a company outing, usually on a Friday in August. This year, that day was this past Friday. The outing always involves good food (breakfast and lunch), snacks and tasty beverages. What we do on the outing is put up to staff vote. This year the staff voted to repeat last year’s outing as that was the best company outing ever. I was reluctant, because how can you recreate that same thing? What made it different was all the staff got to do things together rather than breaking up in small groups only to reunite at lunch.
Well, we did it again with another game day with The Unplugged Arcade. He also hosts tax season games for us on Teams every other Wednesday night. We switched out our lunch plans this year and ate at Timber in their private dining room. And we followed up with more games and candy! It was so much fun and we definitely recommend the The Unplugged Arcade! And as usual, our space at Rize CoWorking Space was awesome, with private bathrooms and plenty of room!

Our office is closed tomorrow, August 21st for our annual company outing full of fun, food, drinks, candy and games. We will be back on Monday!
