Sometimes I work from home.
Sometimes I pack up the laptop and go find a new place to work for a few hours.

Little hack I’ve learned along the way. Working from a hotel can cost about the same as a coworking space, sometimes even less, and the view is usually a whole lot better.

Today that spot is Sunseeker Resort. I’ve got the water right next to me and a quiet place to focus for a bit.

It’s only lunchtime and I’ve already gotten a lot done. Checking off the boxes so I can take a half day tomorrow and actually enjoy the whole weekend.

Pretty sure being near the water helps my brain work a little better.

A year ago I jumped in head first and started this business the same way I do most things in life. No perfectly mapped out plan. It was sink or swim.

Some days it felt like both.

But here I am a year later… still swimming.

Over the last year I’ve had the opportunity to work with restaurants, coworking spaces, service businesses and local brands helping with social media, marketing materials, systems, documentation and the behind the scenes work that keeps things running.

Looking back, I can see God’s hand in so many of the opportunities, the people and the doors that opened along the way.

Today that work has me set up at The Hatchery in Babcock Ranch building documentation templates for a client including a master service agreement, contractor agreement and work orders that will connect directly to their CRM.

Not the flashy side of business, but the kind of work that helps businesses run better.

Feeling incredibly grateful for this first year and for everyone who has trusted me with their business along the way.

Gone, not forgotten.

Memorial Day is not just a long weekend. It is a moment to remember the ones who gave their lives so we could live in freedom.

Their courage, their sacrifice, their stories. We carry them forward by living with purpose, loving our country, and never taking this life for granted.

So today, we honor the brave. We remember the fallen. We pray for the families who carry their memory every day.

We will always remember.
