BARABOO, WISCONSIN - Flambeau has been ranked once again in the top 100 blow molders of North America by Plastics News magazine. The new list was released in the publication this month, and the company retained its No. 21 ranking in 2024 with its portion of the list’s combined $22.2 billion in revenues by the listed companies. Flambeau designs and builds molds for a variety of customers and industries representing over 40 unique four-digit SIC codes. The company contributed heavily in the list’s top markets, including automotive, consumer, industrial, agriculture, construction, medical, and packaging. This post shows a middle school robotics class last month visiting Seats Incorporated in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. As the charity arm of Nordic Group of Companies, i.e. Seats, Flambeau, Inc., and Columbia Vehicle Group, the W.R. & Floy A. Sauey Family Foundation donated $8,694 this year in support of Webb Middle School's new robotics program. Its goal is to promote 21st century employment skills, critical thinking, and active learning to instill innovative mindsets in students, according to the Reedsburg-area school, and to provide meaningful and collaborative community partnerships that expand and enhance learning opportunities. Flambeau’s plastic blow-molding manufacturing facility in Baraboo was busy this past summer commissioning an additional press, which will be making a difference in the efficiency and production levels of the plant. Next door, Flambeau’s companion injection-molding facility commissioned its own additional press in the same period, bringing specific improvements and advantages to that facility. They are both revving up production this fall and, together, are boosting Flambeau’s on-going efforts to invest in customer service capabilities and work environments. Flambeau serves many retail, commercial, and industrial markets, including contract manufacturing, for key sectors of the automotive, fluids, and packaging industries.
