Ingram Maintenance & Welding was established with one goal in mind: "Doing it right, the first time"
We take the extra step, spend the extra few minutes to inspect, evaluate and totally repair your magneto so we can guarantee the major components (bearings, bushings, seals, etc.) YOU are responsible for points air gap adjustment, condensor replacement and using/replacing the correct copper core s
park plug wires as/if needed. We support our local AG classes and repair centers. On occasion, (once a year) we pick a deserving student through and with the help of their instructor, and restore a magneto for the student for free. It’s our way and paying it forward as well as setting a positive example. We feel we owe the next generation a bit of a hand up. (If you’re a grownup, we simply can’t work for free. You’ll get free advise to a point but when you need an overhaul and are asked to ship your magneto to us, that’s as far as we can go without laying hands on your unit.) Our local repair centers supply our restorations to their customers, as well. Their clients appreciate the OEM-NOS parts we use in our shop. Magnetos need occasional full service to re-magnetize the rotor and to track down and repair weak or worn parts. Smart people choose Ingram Maintenance & Welding for their magneto repairs. In our Carburetor Shop, we rebuild Marvel Shebler, Zenith, Linkert and various other vintage and antique carburetors. They are torn down, soaked in the carb tank and scrubbed to ensure that all the ports are clean and then we "size" the ports and passages to make sure there were no mistakes made in the manufacturing process. The same goes for the jets, they are inspected, cleaned and sized. We have the capability of re-bushing throttle and choke shafts to stop them from sucking air, making your carburetor fully adjustable again.
