In honor of National Dog Day, we’re excited to share this amazing photo of K9 Casey, a detection dog with the U.S. Capitol Police. 🇺🇸🐾

Casey’s handler stopped by our booth at HITS and shared some updates and photos with us. It’s always incredibly rewarding to see one of our dogs thriving in the field—and Casey is doing just that!

Casey is a stellar American-bred Labrador who we had the privilege of training. She was an absolute joy to work with, and we couldn’t be happier to hear how well she’s doing with USCP.

We’re incredibly proud of this girl and grateful to her handler for giving us a glimpse into the important work they’re doing together.

Happy National Dog Day, Casey! 🇺🇸🐕‍🦺

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind!

We kicked off last week with a three-day K9 evaluation with the Department of War and TSA. We were honored to welcome Janene Corrado, Deputy Executive Assistant Administrator of TSA, who spent time with us getting a behind-the-scenes look at the domestic procurement process.

The training days were long, demanding, and incredibly rewarding. Our team showed up, put in the work, and we're proud to celebrate 34 dogs successfully passing their performance evaluations! 👏🐕🇺🇸

This week, we headed to Raleigh for the 2026 AKC Detection Dog Conference.

One of the biggest highlights was attending the presentation by TSA and Katalyst Kennel, one of the founding members of the Domestic Breeding Initiative. We were fortunate to serve on the DBI working group during the program's planning stages back in 2018, so seeing how far it has come was a true full-circle moment. It's exciting to watch the continued growth and success of a program we were honored to help shape.

Now it's time to head back to the 🍑 State—grateful for the opportunities, the partnerships, and everyone who continues to move this mission forward.
