Sonja is known for leading statewide innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Today, she serves as Manager of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the South Carolina Department of Commerce, where she works to strengthen South Carolina's business ecosystem by connecting entrepreneurs, innovators, and small business owners with the resources they need to grow and thrive.
