Labor Day is about celebrating all the driving force of our community: our local workers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and business owners. Take this long weekend to relax, recharge, and celebrate with your friends and family!

We brought the region together this past Thursday and what a great event it was!

Our annual State of the Region held at USC Salkehatchie brought business owners, community members, and partners together for a night of celebrating the past year together and to discuss where we are headed for the future.

The evening featured a great panel discussion with perspectives from both the large and small businesses within the region, a keynote message from Allendale Mayor Gentle, and the opportunity to network with professionals from the area.

We are proud to show off the work that our community, businesses, and partners are doing within our region. We are excited to see the region continue to more forward!

A huge shout out to the partners who made this event such a success. We could not to this without your ongoing support!

Meet the speakers for our September Lunch and Learn!
Vanessa brings more than 20 years of experience in business leadership and business financials. She is a certified financial education instructor helping individuals and businesses with their financial positions. Vanessa bring knowledge of bridging the gap between Chamber members and SCORE by helping local entrepreneurs understand their resources through SCORE.
Jeanene is based in Aiken, SC but helps businesses throughout the CSRA. She brings her strong background in bookkeeping, payroll, and small business ownership. She is a certified Payroll Specialist through the American Payroll Association and a certified bookkeeper through the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers.

It's a new week, it's a new feature, it's Member Monday! 🎉

We are happy to spotlight Humpty Dumpty Poultry Farm, LLC as this week's Member Monday feature. Humpty Dumpty recently opened its new farm location at 2004 Fuller Pond Road with tons of produce, homemade pound cakes, farm raised eggs, and more! The roadside farm stand is open Tuesday-Saturday.

Be sure to check them out this Saturday for their Food Truck & Vendor Event! Come enjoy great food, shop with local vendors, and support small businesses in our community.
