🍷🥧 Pie Day Meets St. Patrick’s Weekend! 🍀
In honor of Pi Day and St. Patrick’s Day, we’re raising a glass to cozy comfort food, good company, and a beautifully balanced red.

🥘 Shepherd’s Pie Recipe (Perfect with South Facing Red)
Ingredients
• 1 lb ground lamb (or beef if you prefer)
• 1 medium onion, diced
• 2 carrots, diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 cup peas
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 1 cup beef broth
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp fresh thyme
• 1 tsp fresh rosemary
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 3 cups mashed potatoes (buttery and fluffy)
• 2 tbsp butter (for browning)
Instructions
1. Sauté the base: In a large skillet, brown the lamb. Add onions, carrots, and garlic; cook until softened.
2. Build the flavor: Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, salt, and pepper. Add broth and simmer until thickened.
3. Add the peas: Fold in peas and remove from heat.
4. Layer it up: Spread the meat mixture into a baking dish. Top generously with mashed potatoes.
5. Bake: Dot with butter and bake at 400°F until the top is golden and crisp, about 20–25 minutes.
6. Serve: Let rest briefly, then plate it up with a glass of South Facing Red.
