Paul Robert Photography Complete photographic and advertising consultancy. Paul meets every new experience with excitement, creativity, and passion.

Paul Robert Photography is a collaborative company able to pull together an appropriate team of talent to fulfill your every artistic, advertising, and promotional purpose, whether scouting an outdoor location and arranging a naturally-lit photo shoot or spending time in the studio shooting delicately plated meals for your menu, including providing descriptive copy and printing services, or creati

ng a fun and festive atmosphere for models, for shooting a fashion spread, and completing post-production work to perfect the images through final layout. Paul studied photography at Columbia College, Chicago, moving from traditional film photography to digital imagery, including post-production work and digital photo manipulations. For twelve years he’s been sharing his talent in commercial, restaurant, and fashion photography with businesses and individuals throughout the area. He also enjoys traveling with camera in-hand to feed his passion for capturing split-seconds of beauty beyond compare and that single flash of emotion across a face. Paul draws inspiration from everything that life has to offer, but music provides one of his greatest sources of creativity. The crossover between various art forms and the combination thereof offer Paul an intensity and joy to fuel him to mastery. Role models for various reasons include Victor Skrebneski, Helmut Newton, Shinji Watanabe, Yanick Dery, Tarun Khiwal, and Raya. While not really a wedding photographer-type, there is rarely a project Paul isn’t interested in undertaking, whether locally, across the country, or across the pond. Each new experience is an opportunity to explore new areas of capability, to utilize the diversity of tools at the disposal of modern photographers, and to meet fascinating new individuals, thereby expanding his capabilities for the next project.

Today I painted a new residents nails at work and as we were going over colors, she mentioned she wanted clear. The only thought that came to my mind was "CLEAR?! That's no fun."

I asked her why she wanted clear and she said, "My hands are ugly, I don't want to draw attention to them." I then carefully responded with, "Your hands tell the story of your life. They tell the story of love, of care and adventure. These hands have touched and held things that most people can only wish to one day."

And with that, she went with the color pink for her nails. Sometimes what we are so insecure with, others find beauty in.
