Did you know that blood donations often drop significantly during the summer months? With many people traveling and adjusting their routines, fewer donors are available and the need for blood remains constant. Hospitals rely on a steady supply to support surgeries, emergency care, cancer treatments, and more, so even a small dip in donations can lead to serious shortages nationwide.

First South has partnered with Vitalant, formerly LifeBlood, to host a community blood drive at their Bartlett Banking Center at 6471 Stage Road on June 11th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

They will have the big bus parked on the drive thru side of the Bartlett Banking Center, so you can’t miss them!

Donating blood is a simple way to help save lives and support patients in need. Every donation truly makes a difference!
