One of the most profound things I read in 2022 was to switch our mindset about REST. Instead of our usual nonstop hustling, feeling like we have to EARN rest....we need to realize that we are at our best when we START from a place of rest.

Oh how imbalanced we've been...especially as entrepreneurs. Let's be intentional this year about prioritizing rest and getting recharged daily. We are the best for not only ourselves but for our clients/customers as well.

Still downloading all that I gained from attending conference this past week. 🤯

I will recap in another post but believe me when I say it was RIGHT ON TIME! 🙌🏾

Sometimes we have all of the plans, projects, initiatives in the pipeline and we constantly feel like we're behind on pushing them forward. Then you have those moments that remind you that you're not too late, you're exactly where you need to be. That's what was for me. Confirmation on sooooo many levels.

Stay motivated friends. Keep doing your thing. It's never too late. Let's get it!

Due to the pandemic, I've missed my usual in person conference for the past 2 years so I'm excited to get back at it.

I'm attending a new one this year, and I am STOKED!!!! If you've been around a while, you know my absolute passion is encouraging and equipping others towards financial success.
Well I have some really AMAZING things in the pipeline right now and this conference is bringing it all full circle. Stay tuned friends...it's about to be LIT 🔥 over here! 😉

Langston Hughes is one of my favorite poets. "Dreams" is the first poem we taught our boys when they were little. Short, but powerful.

If you really know me, then you know that I'm a dreamer. Always have been. But I'm also a doer. I have the audacity to believe that God will do exactly what he places in my heart. In his own timing, it will come.
I'm consistently in awe of his faithfulness.

I strive to be a good steward over every gift, talent, idea and passion that He has placed inside me.
I want to encourage you to do the same.

Never stop dreaming.
Write the vision down.
Trust God with your dreams.
Believe it will happen.
Take small steps towards it.

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. ~ Zechariah 4:10

Performed as part of a regular procedure rather than for a special reason.

I want fitness to be a part of my regular routine. I'll do good for a few weeks. Get super busy. Fall off again. I plan for it daily. Set an alarm for it even. I hit dismiss when it beeps. Say I'll do it tomorrow. Then tomorrow comes. Repeat. I'm trying to change that. One day at a time. No lofty goals. No special occasion or trip. Just moving daily. No excuses. Motivation isn't going to always be there. Determination needs to step in. It's an act of love and kindness to myself. I understand that now. ❤️

To store something at a very low temperature to PRESERVE it. The act of holding or being held in a FIXED state.

The past few days, everything haulted. School stopped. Work stopped. Power stopped. Internet stopped. Cell data stopped.

And there was nothing we could do about it.

We were frozen from accessing the outside world and even inside amenities. However, through LOVE, candle LIGHT and lots of LAUGHTER, God PRESERVED our family. I'm so grateful.
