Some parts of your lawn never bounce back, like the strip under the oak tree or the side of the house that only sees a few hours of sun. The grass there gets thinner every year. Aeration and overseeding target those shaded areas. We loosen the soil so air, water, and nutrients can reach the roots, then seed the thin spots so new grass can fill back in.
