Spooky season is just around the corner!
The City of Bastrop Police Department is calling on all the creative young minds in our community to show off their pumpkin carving and decorating skills.
Beginning October 23rd through October 30th, kids are invited to bring a pre-carved or pre-decorated pumpkin to the Police Department. We’ll proudly display the pumpkins in front of the department for the community to enjoy throughout the Halloween season.
Pumpkin Drop-Off Details:
October 23–30, 2026
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Weekdays only — no weekend drop-offs
Bring your pumpkin already carved or decorated and ready for display!
As an extra treat, each child who participates can have their name entered into a random drawing for a spooktacular prize!
Get creative, have fun, and help us add a little Halloween spirit to the Police Department. We can’t wait to see what our young artists create!
