This month, we're highlighting Milan High School! Amy and Bella are two members of the ClearPoint team who are proud to call Milan their alma mater.

Amy continued her education at Ball State University and Indiana Wesleyan University. Her connection to the Milan community has continued well beyond graduation. For more than 10 years, Amy has served on the board of Milan Community Dollars for Scholars. She also volunteers for other local nonprofit organizations and community events.

Bella went on to attend Ivy Tech Community College after graduating from Milan. Bella's advice to new grads entering the business world today is, "be willing to learn and try something new". Her favorite classes at Milan High School were English 101 and Economics.

This month, we are spotlighting Oldenburg Academy , the alma mater of Deb (Ball State University ) and Ella (University of Dayton ).

OA is a school that proves you don’t have to be the largest to make a lasting impact. Much has changed at OA over the years – from when Deb attended, when it was an all-girls school and classes were taught by nuns, to when Ella attended, after it became a coed school with the nuns now being retired, but still maintain a presence in the school. The school’s close-knit environment and small class sizes create meaningful connections and individual attention that help students thrive.

At ClearPoint Trust, we have also experienced change over the years, and with our recent acquisition by Community Bank. While we’re a team of around 35 employees within a larger organization, our size allows us to build meaningful relationships and make a big impact for the deathcare professionals we serve.

Alma Mater Spotlight: East Central High School

This month we are recognizing East Central High School, one of the largest high schools in the Tri-State and a longtime rival of Batesville High School.

While their graduation span years apart, Beth, Ashlee, and Courtney share a connection to East Central and a passion for giving back to the community.

Whether serving on local nonprofit boards, volunteering with youth programs, and supporting community foundations; Beth (Bowling Green State University), Ashlee (Hanover College), and Courtney (Ivy Tech Community College); each has made a meaningful impact beyond the workplace. Community Outreach included in photos: 2026 Margaret Mary Health Girls on the Run 5K.

Courtney's advice to her high school self is, "You might fail at something you try, but you'll never succeed at something you don't attempt."

Alma Mater Spotlight: Batesville Highschool

From Batesville High School to building impactful careers, Ryan and Sam demonstrate to what strong roots and hard work do.

Ryan (Xavier University) and Sam (Purdue University) have brought their talents back to the Batesville community, leading both in and out of the office. Ryan on our Investment Management team and Sam's leadership in operations, both show how leading by example makes an impact in the office and throughout the community.

In a town known for its competitive spirit, both Ryan and Sam give back as coaches in Batesville, mentoring the next generation of athletes.

Ryan coaches the boys and girls golf teams at Batesville High School, both having individual and team success in recent years.

Sam's advice to new grads entering the business world:
"Find an organization or manager who values innovation and growth. Be flexible, be adaptive, be creative, do the work necessary to succeed. Your personal and professional success is a team effort, find your team."
