It is with heavy hearts that Team BTS informs you that Mark McDonald, one of our valued network engineers and co-workers, has passed away.

His passing was sudden and unexpected, and we are devastated by his loss. Mark shared his experience, insight, expertise and work ethic with BTS and our clients on a daily basis. He also shared his talent, humor and heart with the team via group chats, individual conversations and through his truly stellar photography and videos, especially in recent years as he explored the many vistas of Maine in earnest. He will be greatly missed.

When we have information on services or opportunities to honor and celebrate Mark, we will share those as well.

Our General Manager, Jennifer Poston joined team Burgess over 20 years ago. Today – she officially retires. (unofficially, we’re keeping her on speed dial a little longer) 😉
Owners Mike Dorr and Matt Rice recently shared some thoughts on Jennifer and her contribution to the team.
Mike: “Jen has always had a unique talent for connecting with people, making employees feel valued, heard, and supported. The positive impact she has had on our team is immeasurable, and I believe our strong employee retention is a direct reflection of the environment she helped create. Her leadership style not only strengthened our organization but also left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to work alongside her.”

Matt: “Coming from a larger corporate world, Jen brought new insights and thoughts. Introducing us to those made our team stronger and more professional. I think Jennifer’s greatest strength lies in her ability to care. Jennifer has always showed compassion and a sense of balance, leading others to see her point of view while not dismissing others’ thoughts. Something talented leaders are able to do.”

Jen – Team BTS will miss you very much, but we are so excited for you and your family to enter this new camping, skiing, relaxing, adventuring era. Thank you for EVERYTHING!
