Diego went off to his new home this morning and it’s safe to say I think he’s in heaven, he went to such a beautiful property and a wonderful family! 🤩😍

I went through a lot of hurdles for this boy the last few weeks and seeing everything work out is so rewarding. Endings like this remind me why it’s always worth it 😊

Diego got the hottest hooves on the block today and a new set of clickers before he heads off to his new home! 🤩

I will start by saying what a mighty good horse Diego was because this took 4 hours to achieve, it took 3 passes with a hot shoe and touching up as his feet kept settling to get four perfectly level hooves! This farrier has been taking care of my personal horses for 7+ years so I knew he was the perfect one to set Diego straight. Good work isn’t cheap and cheap work isn’t good, is the best way to explain farrier work as no hoof no horse.

SOLD❤️

Diego is definitely a looker and been racking up the compliments and everyone wondering what this big yellow fella is all about! 🤩

He’s got a farrier appointment for Tuesday morning to fix what the previous person did because no foot is the same lol. He needs his teeth done so that’s getting done next available day but he was aged at 17y/o (sorry everyone I was 2 years off). Doesn’t change the fact this boy is sweet sweet sweet, he’s been there done that and literally safe for everyone!!!

I have already scheduled multiple showings on him, I will post an official ad with all his details, pictures and videos eventually! ❤️😊

When I say Diego is gentle I’m not lying, he is the first horse I’ve jumped on in almost 8 months since being pregnant and he made me feel like I never missed a day.

Also whoever buys him is also contributing to the Erica Needs New Jeans Foundation because dear lord I can barely get mine past mid thigh, buttoning is a whole other struggle. 🤣🤣

Okay I’ve thought long and hard and I’m naming him Diego! And here’s what I can tell you about him!🤩

He’s got all buttons and manners! I think he’d be a perfect kids horse, lesson horse, trail horse or just someone looking to own a broke horse and do fun stuff with.

I sure do know how to pick em because take a look at this big handsome sweet boy I got!😊🥰

I can’t say I’ve met many horses so trusting right from the start and just down right gentle, my goodness what a love.

My vacation is over!

This last year has been crazy from selling selling selling, to putting everything on pause after finding out I was pregnant to welcoming our son into the world and now house shopping.

I will be officially be able to own and sell for myself and not have an extra partner in this, as everyone knows I always sold with other people. We’d constantly bump heads regarding care as I believed the sale horses deserved to be treated the same as your personal horse, deadlines to when they needed to be moved by and also what to buy! I personally have always been the one for the gentle trail, family, lesson or kid safe horses everyone can own/ afford, that’s what I started selling with many many years ago. I HATED deadlines I don’t want to hear “this horse has till the end of the month or it’s going auction” when it’s genuinely a good horse just hasn’t landed in front of the right person yet! It was so stressful as I felt it wasn’t fair

Selling horses is my all time favorite thing to do, everyone knows I truly put my heart into it which is why it comes naturally. There’s no better feeling than going out finding a horse knowing it’s life of bouncing around week after week is coming to an end, it will eventually head off to a happy home in which then it’s time to help the next.

Pending sale!

Snip is back up for sale by the person I sold him to

17 years old 15.2 hands tall big finished ranch gelding, great at roping, moving cattle, easy to work with, W/T/C, loads/hauls quietly, ties, stands for the farrier and will go anywhere you point him. Confident rider but safe for beginners, not a mean bone in this horse’s body!

I really enjoyed him in the time he was with me as I did use him for roping and cutting/roll back cows, if you’re interested let me know I’ll forward you to his owner. $3### UTD on coggins
