Baton Rouge is under a Tornado Watch tonight.
According to the National Weather Service, severe weather is expected this evening and overnight, with damaging winds, hail, and the possibility of a few tornadoes. The watch for southeast Louisiana remains in effect until 2:00 AM CDT.
For property owners, this is the part that matters:
Strong winds do not need a direct tornado strike to cause serious roof damage.
They can lift shingles, loosen flashing, open vulnerable areas, and create hidden entry points for water. Hail and wind-driven debris can make the damage even worse.
At LAP Services, we help property owners identify storm-related damage early, before it turns into leaks, interior damage, or higher repair costs.
If your property is in the Baton Rouge area, this is the time to stay alert and inspect for possible damage once conditions are safe.
