This month, we would like to shine the spotlight on Teehui Min, one of GRSA’s Mechanical Integrity (MI) Engineers!

Before joining the team in late 2024, she earned both a B.S. in Advanced Materials Science & Engineering and an M.S. in Asset Management & Maintenance. Tee then went on to gain experience as an MI Engineer in the Oil & Gas Downstream industry and as a Corrosion Engineer in the Offshore Wind industry.

Here at GRSA, Tee now continues to grow her career by developing and managing inspection strategies for pressure-retaining equipment in accordance with API and other industry standards. Reflecting on her path into engineering, Tee shared: “I was inspired to pursue engineering because I enjoy problem-solving and tackling challenges that require analytical and logical thinking. I’m motivated by breaking down complex problems and developing practical, effective solutions.”

😎

When she’s not assisting clients with their MI needs, Tee enjoys traveling and trekking. Just a few months back, she completed the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek at an altitude of 5,364 meters! Next on her adventure list: a Patagonia trek. ⛰️

A few more fun facts about Tee:

· Favorite Music: Jazz

· Favorite Cuisine: Asian cuisine

· Lesser-Known Fact: Just like my name ‘Tee’, I am also a tea person than coffee person.

Thank you for everything you do, Tee! You continue to prove you are someone who can be relied on. You are a wonderful addition to the GRSA team, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!🎉

We’re excited to spotlight one of our growing team members: GRSA’s Electrical Engineer, Andrew Bienvenu!

He joined GRSA in February 2025 as an intern and is coming up on one year full-time this May. His path to engineering took him through Nunez Community College and Southeastern Louisiana University before completing his Electrical Engineering degree at LSU.

In his role, he supports the team by developing drawings, working through redlines, and assisting with design tasks as he continues to build his experience.

😎

His inspiration for engineering started early—he was influenced by his grandparents’ work with NASA, which helped spark his interest in the field.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, and spending time with friends. His go-to genres? Classic rock and hip hop 🎶

A few extras:
• Bucket list: Pass the FE Exam
• Favorite teams: LSU Football & the Atlanta Braves
• Superpower of choice: Flying (to beat Baton Rouge traffic)

Thanks for your hard work and dedication—we’re glad to have you on the GRSA team! 👏🎉

EMPLOYEESPOTLIGHT 🎉🎉

Welcome back to March’s Employee Spotlight! This month, we would like to highlight one of GRSA’s Reliability Engineers, Mo Samman. Since joining the team back in August of 2021, Mo has assisted in numerous equipment strategy development efforts for fixed equipment and piping, which requires scenario definition, risk evaluation, and maintenance planning.

Mo started off his engineering career by receiving a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UT Austin and started working in the equipment strategies world in April of 2015. Over the course of his career, the accomplishment he has been most proud of was when he “developed excel tools in 2016 that have been used until today. They’ll finally be phased out with the latest software migration, but having tens of thousands of hours saved as a result of my vision is something I’m very proud of. One of the tools will still likely be used by the mechanical department for cost benefit analysis.”

When asked what his favorite part of working with GRSA is, Mo responded, “I have a level of trust that enables me to strike the work life balance that works best for me and my family. Having worked in the industry with a lot of the employees at GRSA, it’s also reassuring knowing that my team is as technically competent as anyone could hope for.”

😎

Mo, shown pictured below with his wife, fills his time outside work with fun activities such as basketball and video games. He’s also one of GRSA’s resident cooking experts, dabbling often in home cooking and trying out different recipes. 🥘 👨‍🍳

When asked a fun fact about himself, Mo answered with a couple great facts, “I won a March Madness bracket challenge sponsored by Pluckers wing bar in 2014 that gave me 1 year’s worth of food which I finished in 3 months. I also won a Texas state chess championship for kindergarten when I was 4 years old and can speak, read, and write in English, Arabic, and Spanish.” As if this wasn’t already impressive enough, Mo was also a semi-professional basketball player for 2 years and was even paid to play overseas! 🏀

Mo, thank you for all your hard work! You have been a wonderful addition to the GRSA family, bringing high-quality reliability work and attention to detail on every project you’re on. We are very grateful to have you on the team and are excited to see what you do next! 🎉

Today we recognize Jeremy Teague -
1 YEAR STRONGER!

Over the past year, we have witnessed strength, resilience, determination, and unwavering character. Jeremy’s injury may have altered his path, but has not defined him - and certainly has not deminshed his impact! He is still kind, still outgoing, still quick to make us laugh, and still an important part of our team!
We are incredibly proud to have him as part of our GRSA team and grateful to celebrate one year of resilience with him! 💙

🎉🎉

As February comes to a close, we would like to shine the spotlight on Aaron Ooi, one of GRSA’s Mechanical Integrity (MI) Engineers! Aaron’s main role within the company is to develop and manage inspection strategies for pressure retaining equipment drawing on API 580/581 standards. This work helps clients prioritize high-risk assets, optimize inspection intervals and to ensure safety, reliability and regulatory compliance.

Before joining the team almost 1.5 years ago, Aaron started his engineering career as a Reliability Engineer with a Formula One team! It was here that he learned how to use data to predict issues and prevent failures. After this, Aaron then moved into asset integrity roles in the energy sector, focusing on keeping equipment safe and reliable. These experiences helped him build a practical understanding of risk, reliability, and making informed maintenance decisions.

On what inspired him to make this career choice, Aaron responded “I often draw inspiration from Formula 1 pit stops — teams use their tires as much as possible, but not so long that performance drops or failure happens. In the same way, my job is about finding the right time to “service” a piece of equipment: not too early, which wastes resources, and not too late, which risks breakdowns. I find it incredibly rewarding to strike that balance so equipment runs safely, reliably, and efficiently without unnecessary downtime.”

😎

Beyond being a MI Engineer, Aaron’s life is filled with active hobbies such as Go-Karting and hitting up the gym in his off-time. He’s also interested in traveling, with one of his bucket-list items being to travel from Malaysia to London via the Trans-Siberian railway system! This mode of travel will let him make stops along the way to sample and photograph local cuisine. 🥗🥘

In terms of success, one of Aaron’s proudest accomplishments “was early in my time at GRSA, when I supported a client who needed to finalize their turnaround (TA) worklist, but their risk assessments were not yet in place, and the shutdown date was fast approaching. Within a short timeframe, my team and I developed a practical, interim RBI approach, completed the necessary risk assessments, and prioritized the TA tasks. As a result, we were able to deliver a structured and risk-based worklist on time, helping the client proceed with confidence.”

Thank you, Aaron, for your hard work! You bring a creative mind-set to the team that drives us to be more efficient than ever. GRSA is very grateful to have you as a part of the family and can’t wait to see what your future holds! 🎉
