Memory Lane: This photo popped up in my timeline today - taken 5 years ago with our very first Portable Porcelain trailer.

▪️Almost 12 years ago: Kaila and I got married right here at this barn. It was the greatest love story that old barn had ever seen.

▪️That day: We used a bathroom trailer from Royal Flush, a Fergus Falls business that closed about 10 years ago. They did an exceptional job - even after it rained 2" and we made a mess of their trailer. Their attitude? “Nothing soap and water can’t fix.”

▪️If it wasn't for them we would have had to settle for porta potties and that would have been one big muddy mess.

▪️Rewind before the wedding: The barn wasn’t ready to host a reception. My parents (with help from others) spent a year getting it ready.

▪️5 years ago: We launched Portable Porcelain and snapped this photo.

▪️Since then: We’ve seen so many couples do the same - spending a year or more transforming meaningful places into beautiful wedding venues.

▪️We’ve even had the honor: Of helping aunts, uncles, cousins - with both weddings and funerals.

▪️Our small part: Our bathrooms are just one piece of the puzzle, but we take the job seriously. We want to help make every day special - just like Royal Flush did for us.

▪️Note to self: I really should do a better job documenting all the cool venues we get to visit.

Here's to more love stories, more cool venues, and making sure nobody has to settle for porta potties on their big day. 😉
