When’s the last time you looked at your business financials? This Spring? Last year? 🫣

If you’re a business owner and see a profit when you look at your Profit & Loss, that’s great, but it’s only part of the picture. Enter, the oh-so-confusing 🫣Balance Sheet!

✨Most business owners check their Profit & Loss… but skip the Balance Sheet. Your Balance Sheet is simply a snapshot of your business on one specific day.

✨Think of it like a financial photo:

• What you own = cash, equipment, inventory
• What you owe = loans, credit cards, bills
• What’s left = your equity (your ownership)

✨Your P&L tells the story of how you’re doing over time…
your Balance Sheet tells you where you stand right now.

And here’s why it matters: You can be profitable… and still feel broke.

✨Your Balance Sheet shows things your P&L doesn’t:

• Unpaid invoices (money you haven’t received yet)
• Inventory sitting on shelves
• Debt that’s eating up your cash
