A little history of The Wineries on Betzold Rd.

We would like to welcome you to The Wineries on Betzold Rd. for a unique wine experience. Having recently brought two generations of winemakers and wineries together in one location, we are happy to provide a wide variety of wines for your enjoyment.

Bayfield Winery, established in 1995, has been producing local apple and fruit based wines for over 20 years. Scott and Renate Hauser started as hobby winemakers in the 1980’s and their passion only grew as time went on. That passion for creating was passed onto their children Ian and Caitlin.

The apples come right from the orchard outside our tasting room window. The berries, from our farm and our neighbors’ farms.

In 2012, Caitlin, with help from Renate, founded the original Betzold Road winery - All Sisters’ Winery. Taking her passion for wine making and hospitality to create a space that felt like home. She produced only Wisconsin grown, cold climate grape varietals wanting to stay as local as possible.
