It is with tremendous pride, admiration, and gratitude that we announce the retirement of Rick McDonald, VP of Professional Products Division, after over 13 years of leadership at AP&G and a career that has left a lasting mark across the entire pest management industry.
Before joining AP&G in May 2014, Rick spent 12 years as Director of Paragon Professional Products, where he built the strategic partnerships with manufacturers, distributors, and pest management companies that became the foundation of his reputation: a connector, a relationship-builder, and someone who understood that this industry runs on trust.
When Rick joined AP&G, he brought that same philosophy with him. Leading the Catchmaster Pro sales team, he championed innovative integrated pest management solutions for pest management professionals nationwide, shaping strategic and financial planning, product development, and customer service along the way. Rick's specialized skill set, past successes, and industry knowledge made him exactly the right person for the job, and his talents and personality proved invaluable to this company.
Those who worked alongside Rick know the numbers only tell part of the story. His true impact is measured in the sales teams he led, the partnerships he built, and the reputation he earned as one of the most respected and well-loved figures in pest control. He was a titan of this industry, and we are proud to have had him as part of the AP&G family.
As Rick enters his next chapter into retirement, we wish him the best. After years of catching pests, here's to years to come of catching fish.
