At a moment of profound social, political, and environmental change, Grassroots Global Justice (GGJ) is a national alliance of grassroots organizations building collective power for peace, democracy, climate justice, and a just future.

Grounded in transformative organizing, GGJ brings together organizations rooted in working-class communities and communities of color to advance political education, movement alignment, international solidarity, and strategies that invest in care, sustainability, and shared prosperity.

As the organization begins its search for a new Executive Director, it enters an important new chapter in its long history of movement building. GGJ is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to help guide the alliance through this next phase of growth, strategy, and movement building.

Advancement Project is a cutting-edge, no-holds-barred, 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building local power in communities of color across the country. Their team of movement lawyers, organizers, advocates, and communicators can be found in the courts, in the media, and on the ground fighting for change. Through their partnerships with coalitions and local allies, they offer strategy development, research, litigation, training, and communications support.

While there is a strong preference for candidates with a legal background, non-lawyers with deep experience in legal organizations and who can assess the opportunities, risks, and benefits for litigation will also be considered.
