this is great for NJ and Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Netflix has received approval to develop a $903
million state-of-the-art production facility in New Jersey, transforming the former Fort Monmouth site into a hub for film and television creation.
The initial phase will encompass four soundstages spread across a 29-acre area in Oceanport and Eatontown, designed to accommodate actors and production crews within a secure, enclosed campus.
The company plans to invest an additional $848 million to expand the complex with office spaces, production services, a helipad, and visitor attractions. Supported by state tax incentives and a commitment to operate the studio for at least ten years, construction is expected to start by the end of next year.
