Not every "cute" critter is a good houseguest! 🦔

These porcupines found the perfect place to snack...the siding on this barn! Their constantly growing teeth mean they chew on wood to wear them down...and homes, barns, sheds, and cabins often become the target.

You'd never guess what caused this...

Squirrels had been living here for so long that the buildup of nesting material, droppings, food leftovers, and debris became heavy enough to cause the soffits to start collapsing.
Squirrels may seem harmless, but over time they can cause serious structural damage—not just by chewing, but simply by making themselves at home in your home!

🦇 We've been getting a lot of calls for bats this summer!

This bat cone is a one-way exit device that allows bats to safely leave an attic but prevents them from getting back in. Once we're sure every bat is out, we permanently seal the entry points to keep them from returning.

If you're hearing scratching, chirping, or fluttering in your attic, don't wait. The sooner a bat issue is addressed, the easier it is to prevent costly damage. Another way to tell if you have bats is you see guano (bat p**p). Check the comments for what that looks like. 👇

🦊 We recently trapped this beautiful fox that was way too comfortable around people, burrowing it's way under our client's barn. The animal has been safely relocated and the home owners have taken back their space.

Meet some of our smallest clients! 🦨

After safely capturing 6 little ones, we relocated them to a suitable habitat where they can grow and thrive naturally. Every wildlife situation is different, and our goal is always to find the safest solution for both the animals and the homeowners...Michael didn't even get sprayed this time! 😂

❓ How big does a hole need to be for a red squirrel?

🎯 About the size of a golf ball.

These little American Red Squirrels chewed through a tiny gap in the wood and turned the space above this ceiling into a nest. Homeowners usually look for big openings. Red squirrels don’t need big. They just keep chewing until it’s big enough.

We trapped and removed the squirrels, then we plugged the home with wood filler and stained it to match.

If you hear fast scratching, rolling, or constant chewing sounds in your ceiling or walls, there’s a good chance a red squirrel found its way in.

Before & After

The space under this deck looked harmless but it was the perfect den for a skunk. We safely trapped and removed it, then installed a barrier to close off access for good.

What you can’t see under your deck is often exactly where wildlife moves in!

Michael found this cute little Great Horned Owl on a job yesterday. 🦉
Young owls often end up on the ground while learning to climb and fly, but it doesn’t always mean they’re abandoned. We made sure this one was safe and left it where its parents could keep watch.
