What an honor it was for our CEO and Founder, Dilaine Gloege CDA, CPC to spend the morning with a room full of dental residents stepping into the next chapter of their profession. 🦷

Together, we explored what truly makes
a strong clinical note and how the SOAP note method brings structure and precision to every entry. We worked through selecting the proper CDT codes for a range of dental procedures, always ensuring that documentation fully supports what is coded in line with established coding guidelines.
From there, residents reviewed their own current documentation, identified specific areas for improvement, and practiced transforming those notes into clear, defensible SOAP notes.
We also addressed one of the most critical responsibilities of today's healthcare provider: establishing medical necessity. Accurate, compliant documentation protects both the patient and the doctor, and it is the foundation of ethical billing.
Watching these future dentists embrace these standards with such diligence was inspiring. They are entering the profession ready to do things the right way.
