Happy 5th work anniversary to John Tribble! John’s data science expertise is truly impressive, and his leadership has been a tremendous asset to ILW. As Director of Data Science, he brings deep experience across AI/ML, geospatial analytics, computer vision, NLP, and technical delivery, while guiding a 25+ person practice across defense and commercial work. His work on ILW’s Theia solution is a strong example of that expertise in action. As Principal Investigator and Technical Program Lead, John led the development of an AI-driven automated data labeling and object recognition system for Army explosive ordnance disposal, bringing together NLP, computer vision, data engineering, cloud architecture, and software development to mature the solution to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6. His ability to pair strategic vision with hands-on technical depth is exceptional, and we are incredibly appreciative of the innovation, mentorship, and delivery excellence he brings to our team.
