Create your social media identity keeping your social media plan in mind. Social media plan means you should know what will be your social media strategy for your business. It also means you need to know how to use the tools of social media.

Creating your identity is important because without this identity there is no point participating in social media. Your identify- kit should include:

1. Your username โ€“ your username should at once let people know who you are, and why you are using the social media. For this purpose include keywords that represent your business, or products or strategy in your name or title. Standardize this username and title (in case you are using a title).

2. Your photo (or a logo) is also part of this kit and it should be square. Photo can be replaced with a logo if thatโ€™s what you are planning to use.

3. Your brief bio. You can give a brief bio of yourself.

4. A short description of your product, service, or company.

5. The URL of the page to which you want to drive the traffic.

Now create your presence on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Create a professional and consistent brand presence across these sites. Remember to use keywords that represent your business or products in your username or title, in your bio, or maybe in your company description. Use those key words that you think people will use to find your business when searching in search engines. This will help you in search engine optimization.

Different people respond differently to new products and innovations. Some accept and adopt readily while some others take time to do so, but eventually it is the characteristics of an innovation that decides how easily and readily people will accept it. Mobile, internet and social media are those technological innovations which have found ready acceptance and adoption.

I have to remind myself of this everyday! "It's never too late to get your s**t together!"

Anyone else in their thirties or older need this reminder besides me?!

๐Ÿ˜• 2021 was a rough year. I am sure that you have noticed that I have not been posting to social media. I have still been running my business and taking care of my clients but I have not focused on social media or promoting because I was going through some rough times.

I went through a break up, moved, had surgery, lost 23 pounds, got diagnosed with ADHD, and have been focusing on me. My new focus is ๐‡๐€๐๐ˆ๐“๐’!

I went through a lot of uncertainty and unpredictability but what 2021 taught me is that self-care is not selfish! I have to be good to myself because I can't run at my best and be there for my clients if I am not taking care of myself.

So with that being said.....
