Thanks to VIDA members Stephen Jensen for suggesting the partnership and Emily Cabrera for snapping this pic! ✨

Next week we welcome fall (yay!) but this week we’re soaking up dreamy late summer vibes at VIDA Portland. Breaks on the patio, gathering for community lunch, stunning floral arrangements brought in by our members & lots and lots of cold brew 💫

Happy Labor Day! We celebrate all who exchange their time and talents to support our communities and our families — including our very own ! 🧡

Here at VIDA, we also commit to providing a Living Wage, a tool developed by MIT to help individuals, communities, employers, and others estimate the local wage rate that a full-time worker requires to cover the costs of their family’s basic needs where they live — in essence, a wage that can help Make Life/Work.

In Oregon, the estimated living wage for a single adult with no children in Oregon is about $26.46 per hour, while a family of four with two working adults requires each to make roughly $33.77 per hour.

Curious to learn more? Read our full post at vidacoworking.com/blog — and sending all the best for a day of rest this Labor Day! ✨
