On a clients property today finishing up some invasive control and just had to take a picture of this forest. This forest is a biologist desert for wildlife. I’m hoping to do some timber stand improvement in this area over the years to increase wildlife habitat in the understory. I also came across a wild crabapple tree in this stand of timber as you can see from the crabapples in my hand. This crabapple will need more space and sunlight in this stand for better crops of apples for wildlife.

Wanted to use these pictures of the native restoration projects going on at our farm and on a clients property. The native seed bank is there in the soil all you need to do is release it!!!

Killing off invasive and reducing the over story in the forest will allow for these natives to explode. Maintenance is key to keeping these native around with the use of fire, chainsaw, and herbicide. You don’t have to purchase native seed to get these results.

These ecosystems are way more beneficial to wildlife and pollinators so if you need help or want to achieve these goals on your property please contact me, thanks to all that follow, like, and share this information.

Sprayed 4 acres of liquid fertilizers from on a clients property yesterday. I also wanted to point out the invasive species issue I’m dealing with on this property to as we are at the end of the life cycle of these plants. Get them sprayed by mid September or they will finish going to seed and you’ll have a worse problem next year.
