Objective:
An employee in this class performs various skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of CNC machinery, buildings, and equipment. The employee demonstrates technical independence in determining work methods, cost and procedures, receives assignments orally or through written instructions which may be accompanied by sketches or diagrams. Coordinates accurate documented machine and building maintenance program with assistance from all departments to ensure compliance.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Requires ability to keep records and assist in machine reports. Requires mechanical ability as well as ability to move or transport 50 pounds or more on occasion.
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with other employees.
Maintains PM schedules, support a preventative maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition.
Follows a continual work schedule to maintain a safe and healthy condition on company property in order to achieve the best working conditions possible for all employees.
Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies. Reviews inventory for proper upkeep on higher usage replacement parts.
Minor repairs of heating and air conditioning, building structures, clogged drains, and airline installations.
Removes snow and ice from walkways and loading dock areas. Use of salt de-icer as needed.
Shall demonstrate the ability to follow directions and perform daily responsibilities independently.
Ability to interface with all departments in a professional work type manner.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Follow good safety habits and the company’s safety guidelines.
